Hi, this is my first post so I hope I'm in the right place. I have just bought a Robens Light Dreamer and I read on OutdoorMegastore's site (though that's not where I bought it - it was cheaper at World of Tents) about the option to add a footprint groundsheet for £9.99 to your order when buying one from them.
I can't find anywhere else that mentions a footprint groundsheet for this tent (and OM are out of stock til May anyway). Does anyone know where I can get one?
And if not - is it possible to cut down a smallish tarp to fit without the edges fraying, or are you best just folding it under as best you can to fit? Many thanks in advance.
I use footprints for all my tent's (gallery), it is nice to get the purpose made footprint, but if not just buy a cheap tarp, mark it out and then take it to a fabric repair firm, for a small charge they will hem/seal it with some double stitching. will work out cheaper than a pukka footprint, but will do the exact same job, if not better.
Might be worth a check, I think the Robens is much the same as an Outwell Oregon 3. There's a few mm's difference here and there, but it looks like a possible to me?
Just guessing that you'd have more of a chance getting an Outwell sheet and I am fairly sure a decent camping outlet like Yeomans would let you try it out or at least do a refund provided it was returned "un-used"
