Dear all,

I am at present a very excited and keen newly qualified owner of a New TENT

I would like to know what kind of heater you would recommend? I have just brought an Outwell Florida for a very good price but am now thinking that a heater of an evening would be essential, just don't know where to start?!!

Equipment I have so far, kettle, small light, collapsable table & 4 stools, 2 ring burner and grill, kitchen stand with shelves, blow up bed. What other essentials would I really need in order to go camping.

I think the first camping trip would be the one I booked for easter now but need to know what things I need to get before I head off.

Have been looking at car boxes for top of car to give me more storage and definately need it. Anyone recommend any particular box?

Cheers

Hi Stacey1,

I would recommend a low wattage fan heater for your tent.

As for a roofbox,Thule are one of the best on the market but there are cheaper alternatives. We have a Karrite one.

Both Thule and the other one who advertise on here (just remembered - Handirack) do a bag type roof box cheaper than the solid ones, and they can be rolled up and stored away easier. We're thinking of one for next year as an Orchy plus us plus kit in a 206 doesn't leave much space !
