A barbecue running off CV cannisters would work out very expensive to run, BBQ's use quite a lot of gas.

Not exactly a BBQ but here is a handy little item that runs of the CV470 gas.
We find we can get about 6 goes out of the cannister and thats feeding a family of four. If you shop around you can get the gas for about £5 per cannister.

would agree with Stressed Al and the Party Grill - probably the best bit of camping cooking equipment we ever bought.
in actual fact, if we could only take just one of our many cookers on a camping trip, then the party grill would win hands down.

Andyn999, got any more info on this Fargo? Google says "no!" I have a PG which I now use instead of conventional 2 burner + big bottle and I would be very interested in a compact CG BBQ.
Cheers,
SM
