Can anyone point me in the right direction to buy Awning beading? I understand it can be bought by the metre. By beading I mean the stuff which feeds into the awning rail.
Thanks

Saw some at Discover in Delamere, Cheshire yesterday. A lot of caravan shops sell it, or try Ebay.

Many, many years ago when I had a similar need, I used an old , rope washing line. It worked a treat and was still in use a few years later when I sold the van.------------- Gerry

I actually want to make a more practical use out of it. We have recently bought a Geist and the European vans have an awning rail at about head height in addition to the top one. My friend used some of the awning beading, put 2 eyelets in it spaced at the right distance, then hooks the suspending hooks normally used on the awning poles for coats and towels, through them for use in the quick erect awning which doesn't have interior poles.
Does this make sense? I know what I mean!
