I have bought a caravan with one of these heaters fitted.
A couple of questions please, would it be safe to sleep in a caravan all night with one of these running (Carb Mon monitor fitted) and how good/efficient would they be in a 16' caravan.
THere should be no problems in running it at night, it runs on a balanced flue and takes it's air in from below the van and sends it's exhaust gases out the same way. Just be careful if it snows to make sure that some part of the van has a gap to let air get underneath the van.
As a heater they work fine and will prabably do a fair job in a 16' caravan, but in general they were only installed in smaller vans, as soon as the van go bigger than about 14' they used to put the larger heater in.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
I would recommend you have the heater serviced / checked before use to make sure it's safe to use . Some heater gas supply pipes underneath the caravan rust through .
