Just seen advertised in our local rag that Focus have a satellite kit for £49.99 looks ok for what it is just needs a stand. anybody else seen it and what do you think.

Saw this it looks most the same as most of the other portable sat. systems but a bit cheaper.
I was surprised to find that Screwfix are also good for tv aerials and poles.

The reason i was looking at the others was it looks a lot easier to set up, look on you tube and enter multimo and see it

I've heard little about these, other than one which a radio op friend trialled who decided it was non cost effective, should the LNB ever fail. He did find it worked quite well though, but also mentioned that they are a bit bulky. He didn't find it any easier to install than a standard dish, but at least with a conventional dish you can dismantle it easily for transport/storage.------------- Paul
