Hi
We're looking at new kit for our 2010 season camping.
We want to take a slow cooker with us but don't really want to keep one plugged in in a tent as it worries us a bit.
Has anyone used a Dreampot yet? Seen them on here, but for the price I want to know it works!!
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Looking through all the above links and their links, I can see only one persons view, (possible I`ve missed something though)valid though it is it would be interesting to hear from anyone else who has purchased and used one of these.
Anyone?-------------

Have you thought of a hay box?
My mother used to start the cooking, as in Dreampot video, then place in the centre of tea chest full of hay. A cup of water was poured over the hay and the lid placed on.
leave for a few hours or over night , and you have a brilliant cheap slow cooker.
We use a box lined with aluminium foil as tea chests are hard to come by.
