hi guys just bought an 08 model gelert meridian 10 and was thinking of buying some spare tent pole sections and stumbled across some durawrap ones is it worth the extra for these and is it correct that they are more bomb proof than the ordinary fibreglass ones?
Ive wondered if by putting heatshrink tubing over ordinary poles you would 1) get the same effect and 2) the slipperyness of the heatshrink would help with inserting them-- fiddly to actually do the job though----
