I love it! I've only been twice. I'm good at maths (*brags unashamedly*), but both times, I only calculated the discount applicable on the sale weekends, and was pleasantly surprised at the actual price. In fact, oddly, the bills both times were less than expected with the extra 4% reduction. If I could be bothered, I'd work out what the different bills would equate to if you deducted 4%, then the 15% of the remaining bal, then vice versa, and then work out 19% disc off the total. But life's too short.

I am about to start working for Go Outdoors in their new store in Gloucester when it opens in October 2010, so please don't think I'm biased already, but there does seem to be some confusion over the discount card. I did a lot of research on the company before applying which included reading up on the discount card, which reading some of the blogs on this site, people are failing to do properly.

This is what the discount card is all about

.

It is not designed to be used online, but in the store itself.

Hope this clears up any misunderstandings, and like anything you purchase, shop around for the best deals. I used to work for Argos but even with staff discount, sometimes you still find the same product cheaper elsewhere or online. Remember, it's your choice!

Thank you for coming on and trying to clear up any confusion richyo1967,

oh and the links you edited out were absolutely fine and just took you to the GO website, so feel free to readd them if you wish
