The biggest, heaviest one your budget can afford.  It depends on what type of hitch is fitted.  ALKO for instance sell locks specifically for their hitches that look pretty robust.  Go to a caravan shop & see what fits.

    If your unit is stolen ,and Stronghold cover it as it has an  insurance cover, and the thieves cut off the lock and take it with them as well as the van, how can you prove the lock was on the van when it was nicked?

You should recieve insurance cover from any caravan insurer as long as your security device is SOLD SECURE.  Regardless of brand or Sold Secure ranking as long as it's SOLD SECURE your insurance should recognise it.

Always check with the insurer but this has as been the case I've always known.

Sold Secure have their own website listing Sold Secure products and the National Caravan Council are also covering the subject at the NEC this week on their stand.

i'd go with the ALKO - especially as grumbleflick has the same van as you. Have alook at the NEC! Enjoy and wish we could be there!
