We are going to get an electric cool box for the camper van and I've looked at Campingaz at about £50 and Waeco (Mobicool) at around £70. Any experiences anyone? Thanks in advance. PS I have done the search and know the topic has been extensively covered, but haven't found specific mention of these two so far so thought a separate post appropriate.------------- fourtones

Any reason wht you are restricting yourself to these two makes?
Kampa make a good selection of coolboxes and I have their 28ltr one which I think is great. I paid £55 for it.

We have had an old Camping Gaz 12v coolbox for about 7 or 8 years and it has been very useful and reliable. We use it on EHU with a tranformer.

Thanks guys for the prompt replies. One reason for the two choices is size, particularly width, as we want to put it between the two front seats, we have a converted ford transit camper - and also you have to start narrowing down somewhere and these struck me as being good quality with 12v and mains alternatives. I know you can get some for about £30 but I wondered if these were nasty as well as cheap, and we don't mind paying a bit more for better quality. I will check out all your leads, thanks again.------------- fourtones
