Don't know if this tip is helpful to you, but here goes. I always fit the roofbox to the roofbars before it goes on the roof. That's because the fittings that are furthest away from the lid are bu$$ers to screw down when its on the roof.
Thank you soooooo much for this Claydoncamper! I'm a short a*** with short arms and I've just struggled so much trying to get the things off after just purchasing a roof box. Will be so much easier going back on now :-)
