but the part where you inflate it is about the size of a wine cork not the normal small siz
Does anyone know if I can get an adapter to fit this?
I have bought an electric pump but it only has the normal size adapters I had a look in halfords and they told me that that they only do the normal sizes

Karla-------Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
I bought an Intex airbed last year that came with a battery operated pump. We felt the batteries wouldn't be terribly cost efficient so decided the price of a rechargeable pump would be worth it... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Quick-Fill-Rechargeable-Pump-56618/dp/B0007XC2R4, I think this may work for your airbed too, but there are three other nozzles if the main one is too big.
if its like mine then the pump is only mains powered, you use the hole being described to blow the bed up off 12v, my 12v pump come with 3 adaptors and the large one does the job but you have to hold it in place, i bought my pump from wilkinsons for about £5
------------- Camping trips planned for 2011
..............................
More than last year :-)
We purchased an Intex Queen size airbed recently. Our existing 12V pump didn't fit with the 3 nozzles, so we purchased a 'Sidewinder' 12V pump from a camping shop (£8.99). The motor is quite powerful and pumps the bed up fast. The largest nozzle (which isn't tapered) just pushes in a little to get air in but you have to hold it in place.
I made a long (about 8 meters) 12V cable with cigarette adaptor both ends (car end is male, tent end is female). You can get the cable and adapters from Maplin, but make sure you wire up positive and negative correctly. This then allows you to pump the airbed up in situ (in the bedroom).
Our Intek airbed has a quick deflate nozzle (the valve comes completely away from the bed), but you can't get the pump to suck all the air our (the valve is one way) and the quick deflate aperture is way too big for the pump nozzle). So you have to resort to the tried and tested way of squeezing all air out by the manual method.
