Welcome to the very addictive, Uk Campsite the site is so good at helping you chose/decide on your outfit. Then keep you hooked by looking at what others have and recommend.
I hav'nt looked at the Sunncamp but am a Montana fan and owner and would highly recommended it.
I'm a fairly newbie to this site, but have just spent the past few months researching our new tent. I found it very much depends on your budget and criteria, to us we wanted to be able to stand up in our tent and have a decent amount of 'living' area in case of bad weather - for this the static head is important - it depends I guess how often you will be camping in the spring / autumn, there is obviously a bigger chance of foul weather and therefore I would personally recomment a higher HH, if you are only a summer camper then you could risk a not so high HH and hope that we have a decent summer. There is only 2 of us, but after much comparison and checking of reviews on this site, which are excellent - we opted for the Outwell Montana 6 we have a smaller Outwell tent and the quality is excellent but then the price is higher for Outwell.
I can highly recommend the Khyam Ontario 8 XC if you're looking for an easy to pitch, spacious family tent.
Large bedroom pods comfortably accommodate 8 x 75cm wide airbeds, sewn in groundsheet, standing height (225cm), large windows, good ventialtion, spacious living area 315cm x 370cm), fits on a standard pitch (tent measures 7.5m x 3.7m), groundsheet drops flat at doors for easy cleaning and no trip hazzard, cable entry points, ceiling hook for light, doors can be canopied out to form a sun porch, 5000HH rating. You can also buy canopy or sun porch and carpet to turn it into a real home from home.
2010 price is around £225 but if you can find a 2007 or 2008 model ythen you can expect to pay around £180
I am a montana fan too, liked the look of it with lots of windows, features sounded good. But when you buy it and put it up for the first time you will be really pleased with it, you can feel the quality.
Great little features that i didnt realise till i owned one, like you know it has lots of windows? well they all unzip and open brilliant, for when it does get hot. mesh and curtains too. real attention to detail.

If it's your first tent, then I would also vouch for the Khyam Ontario 8. I've got an older model, but with the 8 birth sleeping, large central area and easy pitch it's an amazing first tent. Fairly in-expensive but good quality as well. Get the footprint and also the carpet for a more luxurious time away.
I also got the canopy for a bit of shade and shoe storage.
I'm hoping to upgrade the Khyam this year as I've really got into camping, but deffo a great first tent.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
