Absolutely fine , Thats what i've been using for years .not much difference in the tarp and the proper footprint, just the colour.
make sure that it fits under the tent with no excess sticking out . Cut or fold to fit , so no rain can run under it and get trapped between tarp and tent.
Nothing wrong with that. We've been using that sort of thing for years - usually cheepaer ones than that then it doesn't matter if they get messed up and have to be thrown away - and it's never been a problem.

Thats what we used last year. We fitted it inside the tent so any excess went up the inside of the tent and stopped any irritating draughts at foot level.
