I just wondered if anyone could recommend a decent set of steps for my dad, who's now quite unsteady on his feet...this makes getting in and out of the van an experience each time he tries it!
They've tried the Dukdalf set, but the steps themselves aren't deep enough.
So - looking for a set of steps, preferably with a handle, quite deep, and probably with three steps rather than the usual two.
Would really appreciate any advice or help so my dad can carry on 'vanning!

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about....?
There are a selection of steps to choose from here in the link below but the problem with fixed hand rails is that they become more awkward to transport due to their size.
Probably safer to have a handrail fitted to caravan similar to Fiamma or Milenco ones that also act as an extra door security device. The advantage of these is that the caravan does not move and they remain solid and in the correct place plus you don't have a storage/assembly issue. A local fabricator should be able to make something to meet your requirements for steps. If you have been to any of the big shows you will have noticed that the manufacturers all use large double or treble step constructions. You could always make it into a box to keep shoes, boots etc in.

We have the milenco handrail fitted as stated its always at the correct height acts as a security device and you don,t need to find somewhere to put it You have to keep the locks oiled though..
