Hi,

I have read on here about the 2007/08 Coleman Black Cat heater recall.......parents have leant us theirs to use but when we tried to take canister off it leaked out lots of gas & the connector came off. They purchased it roughly around that time so it could be and sounds like it is one of the faulty ones-trouble is i've emailed Coleman 4 times now and had no reply...any ideas anyone?

They should be able to tell by serial number if it is an affected unit. I think they are obliged to rectify it, if it is such a unit.
