Hi we have a Mojave 5 and also wanted a canopy so emailed Go Outdoors who suggested the Zenobia Porch. I must admit like they said it is a good fit but not a snug fit. You do have to watch the straps over the tent and there is a slight gap down the side, but found it to be a great addition to the tent. It rained very heavy whilst we were away but found the porch stayed dry. You just have to have patience whilst putting up the porch to get it just right. Hope this helps...
I have read somewhere that the Hi Gear Mojave 5 is actually the Gelert Lakesbury 5. I am having the same problem, as i want a side door canopy or porch to cook in, leave muddy boots etc but i havnt the nerve or money to take the risk and just buy a universal one incase it doesnt fit.....if anyone has found a match please let me know. thanks
Hi just wanted to add to our previous post. We have just come back from 18 nights in France with our Mojave 5. We used the Zenobia porch and found it fantastic although not a snug fit it was such a great addition to the tent. Even in a real downpour it never leaked and kept everything dry. It proved to be a great asset. I have read somewhere that Go Outdoors are looking at bringing a porch out next year for this tent.
Thanks Jules247, hearing that a purpose built canopy may be coming out next year is ideal. Will keep my eyes peeled, however the Zenobia porch will be great 2nd choice if need be.
