HI WE HAVE RECENTLY GOT OURSELVES A CARAVAN AND I WAS WONDERING ABOUT A LCD TV FOR IT BUT HAVENT A CLUE WHICH TV WOULD BE SUITABLE OR IF I NEEDED SOME SORT OF REGULATOR TO USE WITH IT THE TV IM INTERESTED IN BUYING.(SEE LINK BELOW) WE HAVE ELECTRIC HOOKUP THAT SUPPLYS THE SOCKETS IN THE VAN BUT IT DOESNT HAVE RCD PROTECTION.
The TV in the link will be fine, but appears to be mains only; if you only ever use EHU then this will be ok but if you ever plan a break without hook-up and need 12v, then you might want a re-think.
The EHU post's you connect to will have suitable protection, so there are no "regulators" etc., required.
Personally, I use a dirt-cheap Technica 17" Freeview/DVD LCD TV from Tesco which is very lightweight and works an absolute treat, bought specifically for use in the van and is mains only as I don't envisge a need for 12v myself.
