I have a Sibir RC1600 3 way fridge which i used last year on a hook up and is excellent.
This year i want to use gas to power it which i have heard is good as it makes it extra cold.
Which gas do i use. It says LP GAS only. Can you recommend some makes of gas that will work with this fridge. Does anyone know if Camping Gaz 907 will work with this fridge. Does anyone know where i can get a manual for this fridge from.
Hi. Don't know the fridge, but it says "LP Gas Only", - Liquid Petroleum gas. That means it should work on any bottled gas with the correct regulator for the bottle. So, yes, it should work on a 907 bottle. But Camping Gaz is very expensive, ounce for ounce, compared with, say, Calor.
You need to find out how much it will use to see what's best.

Looking later on the net it looks as if it uses 10.5g of gas an hour. However, the site is in German which is a language, among many, which I can't understand. See HERE.
Yes they do the 4.5kg calor gas, not sure on price tho. Also worth trying is Hocmeyers garage opposite the Jolly Scotsman pub just off holdingham roundabout nr Sleaford, they may be cheaper.
where did you get the sibir from? I've just been perusing the net and can't find anyone selling them at the mo........ thanks for any info you can provide.
