We have a campingaz camping cef, and OH always removes the pipe and the regulator to transport.

my pipe is currently fixed with a pipe clip.i would imagine this would be very difficult to remove once the clip is loosened.yes?thats why i was wondering about these quick release couplings.

Mine is the same but I've put the regulator in a jiffy bag so it doesn't scratch the stove and managed to get it all into the bag (with a bit of a struggle).

hamilton gas

I have just fitted my camping chef with one of those I have fitted the loose end to the stove and the shut off valve to the regulator hose

I bought two and have put one on the calor regulator and one on the campingaz 907 one so now have both hoses in the carry bag and it fits with a quick push

it is much easier than disconnecting the hose from the stove every time

Simply put, yes that will work.
The one linked to above is perfect (and a good price).

i get mine from here, much cheaper than hamilltons and you get a discount if you buy more than one. they have to go in the hose so i suppose the best thing would be to have a couple of inches of hose off the camping chef into the coupling then you can just disconnect the other half and the rest of the hose. youd only have a little bit sticking out then and would be much easier. :) i love those coupling, make life so much easier! well, camping...lol!

Hi
This looks as if it could solve my problems as well as we regularly swap between calor and camping gaz but I am not quite sure how it is configured. Could someone post a diagram?
thanks in advance

Hi Kevin

Im at work at the moment, otherwise id take a snap of my barbie for you as ive got one of the couplings on there. basically you cut a gap in your hose and then put it in the gap, so hose goes over each end of the connector.

does that help?!

Hi, sorry to bring this up after so long - just bought a Campingaz Chef too, and this looks like the perfect solution. Have ordered the QR connector and two jubilee clips.

My question is - what is the best way to cut the hose -stanley knife, hacksaw..?

Thanks!

Just ordered the quick release coupling and clips from ebay. Is there a problem leaving the regulator on the 907 tank and just close it?

with that type i would remove it,as it is easy to knock, and at the end of the day it is the easiest to remove.
