Before we moved onto a caravan with fridge and ehu, we had a normal cool box and 2 sets of coolblocks that we changed every 12 hours. Almost every site has a freezer available. This worked really well, kept things fresh.
Even now with a fridge and freezer, I still do this for stuff i cant fit in the caravan fridge, with a coolbox in the awning.

Another vote for the Igloo Maxcold here, I got the 50Qt size. I've still had loads of ice in mine even after 6 days, ultra reliable, no moving parts, no flat batteries, no EHU, no having to carry a gas bottle.
The gaffer of my local very kindly gives me as much ice as I want!

I too hav. Been looking at the Igloo Maxcold range, but from what I can gather the smallest they do is a 50qt which is a bit big for our Car along with everything else.
Is it true they have to be prepared (frozen) prior to taking them away???????? Sounds strange??
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
