dont know if this will be of any help but I feel the cold so much it almost put me off too, then I read on hear about putting those foil car window blinds under my air bed, it does help I put one on top of the air bed under my sleeping bag and a fleece blanket on top and I was warm enough all for about £2 from Wilckos. the other thing that helped was not getting cold before bed and my gas lamp takes the chill out

Well my Snugpak arrived.
Very pleased with it, it is bulkier than my husband's 2 but then again I don't walk up mountains carrying my gear. I'm just making a list of all the things I can now leave at home.. hot water bottle, numerous extra fleeces, sleeping bag liner, thermals, extra thick jimjams.
Snugpak now tested overnight, I camped in the Athena in our garden with just a fleece on the airbed, no socks, no hotty, no heater, just jimjams - toasty warm. My OH can't understand why I didn't overheat lol It did get a little warm when I woke up late morning. That's me sorted.

I collected my sungpak yesterday, haven't tried it overnight yet, thats next weekend but it did feel really warm (although it was about 28 degrees outside at the time),
Have also bought picnic blanket for under airbed and fleece blanket for on top so hopefully i should be ok this time.
I like the Antarctica snugpak in red, I might buy one just for the colour! The other debate I have read is what to wear in the sleeping bag. As you want the moisture to wick away from you, some say the bag works better if you sleep with minimum clothing others say use a hitech base layer but not cotton. Aparently.

Costco fleecy jimjams worked for me lol. First I have slept without socks on in a sleeping bag ever. MY OH's winter bag is red..
