Took a pole into our local Go Outdoors yesterday for a repair - 3 sections were split.
The lovely guy in there took all the tape off that had been holding it together, replaced the sections, and when i asked how much it would cost he said "oh that's on me, I just used spare bits i had lying around"
Can't ask for more than that!!

that is really good as a friend of mine took her split vango pole into her local camping store and they charged her £5 to do it for her plus the cost of the pole

I shop a lot at my local Go Outdoor and have to say so far totally impressed with their sales staff ( helpful and knowledgeable )and their range of stuff/prices.
I called in there after work tonite with a utility tent that Id bought on Sunday. I had tried to put the dang thing up last night in my back garden and failed miserably.( never try to erect a tent for the first time after having 2 glasses of wine )
The guy in the tent department showed me patiently what to do and in the correct order- with a smile .Im a happy customer
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
