Just returned from local dealers after dispute about exchange of 6kg butane for 6kg lite dealer said could only change like for like after some discussion and me producing e-mail from calor that says you can exchange 7kg propane or 6kg butane for lite bottles,seems some dealers do as they like not as supplier intended.Stand up and let them know it can happen if you push.
I was under the impression you could exchange any size or type of calor bottle for any other??? They can even take bottles from some other manufacturers in certain circumstances.
You're right though, some retailers do require a gently nudge in the right direction sometimes.
I had heard there has been a recent change of policy by Calor which came into affect in July which reverses the previous policy of swapping similar sized cylinders but now only like for like. How old is your e-mail?
