Went to Millets today to buy the above stove as saw online that it was priced at £39.99, in the window for £34.99, then at the till and it was reduced again to £29.99 (in store only)
Needed to replace the Gelert Double Burner (IMO a load of carp)!
Just found that the output on the Gelert was poorer compared to the Campingaz.
Last year when using the Gelert, our dinner always took much longer than the rest in the party who were using the Campingaz.
never tried the gelert stove but i have been using the campingaz one for a while now and do find it works Ok but one thing to remeber is that you are not supposed to use the grill and the two burners at the same time it is one or the other
I dont know why but that is what it says in the instructions
All double burner grills should not be used with all three sections of the appliance running together. This is due to the toatal off take requirement of the appliance reaching the maximum output from the cylinder. This could result in the burnerflames going out. The gas could then escape to atmosphere again as the gas bottle regains pressure as these types of cookers do not have flame falure device.
