Hi we have been making do with two really cheap nasty sleeping bags zipped together but they are so thin that we have to take the duvet too. Can anyone recommend a really good double sleeping bag with plenty of room in it (at the minute every time hubby turns over he pulls me with him) and one where the zips dont somehow undo themselves in the middle of the night leaving me freezing cos my DH has pulled all the covers off me.
I just want to me warm and cosy
Thanks
Debs

Isn't it a shame when women don't recognise romance.

I'm buying the coleman hudson (the blue one with the stripe)
It was recommended by many on here, and my friend has it and says it keeps her toasty too.

We purchased a Hi Gear Sweet Dreams Double sleeping bag from Go Outdoors.

I'm not a sleeping bag fan but I'm really pleased with this one. The inside is not the cold, horrible nylon material but a nice almost fleece like lining. Zips down both sides which don't open during the middle of the night.

Coleman Hudson is fab. I have sensitive skin and as already mentioned it's towelling cotton rather than shiny synthetic.
It's about £50 but well worth the money.

We're Hampton fans too but we have 2 single ones zipped together because it gives us more room than the double one.
They're also double sided, when it's colder we use the flannel side and when warmer the cotton one.

The Sprayway double one is very good. Think it was about £70 earlier this year. I like the fabric it is made from, seems a bit longer lasting than some of the others which I imagine would go bobbly after a while

Bought the Coleman Hudson double, hoping to try it out tomorrow, both got in it in the lounge and it seems plenty big enough and feels snuggly!------------- Debs
