Hi. We're going camping in a tent in France for the first ti
e. We're staying at Camping le Bohat near Sarzeau. Does anyone know if we'll need an adapter for our mains supply? If so where can we get one? Our current lead has 3 pins.
Any uk caravan/camping shop or Halfords will have these. Just ask for a 'French ehu adaptor' You should always carry one if you are camping in France....
Dont forget that some people like to have 2 of these with one reverse wired so that you can keep the supply in english format. If you use continental equipment as I do then switches have double pole operation and therefore always kill the live feed.

Hi I have been to that site in Sarzeau and took one of those adapter leads just in case but didnt actually need it as the standard mains hook up lead fitted straight in.
I got the adapter just like the one above but what I am struggling to understand id how can I plug in a fridge into it. It sounds quite stupid ... I will try to explain my thinking. I am getting a fridge in the campsite and I was told I need an adapter and an extension lead - fine, no problem here. So I have the adapter, I have a converter from the European to the UK plug, then comes my extension lead and then comes the fridge. Does the fridge have a socket that I can plug in my extension lead into? Or I will end up with two plugs and I need something else to make it work?
Sorry to ask what most will think has already been answered, but where can I get a suitable adapter for my SunnCamp EHU (just ordered) for use in France (if the camp sites don't accept 'our' blue plugs)?
As stated above, Adamclaridge. Most camping shops / caravan places will stock them. Looks like THIS.
That's just one - I haven't done a price comparison.
