£18 a week for Camping Gaz? thats a 907 every week? what on earth do you cook?
Our previous 907 lasted us 3 years! thats 9 weeks and several weekends. I use it most nights, and occasional breakfasts. We take an electric kettle cos we often have EHU, so if I am doing something like rice I boil the water first using the kettle then stick it on the gas, but I just can't see how we'd get through that much gas even if I didn't.
Wonder if your bottle was faulty? We had to empty the bottle we got filled last year even though it was half-full as it appeared to be leaking, the car smelled terrible!
Several places are selling the campingaz twin burner with grill for £35 - £40 which is a great deal, you can use any gas you want (I would suggest Calor Propane if you are going to camp during the winter as Butane will freeze)
Also should you ever need them spares are cheap and widely available, also it's got a built in wind shield which is a godsend (have you ever tried to cook without one in windy conditions?)
Thousands of people can not be wrong!

I got the campingaz camping chef twin burner plus grill in Stockport Go Outdoors at the weekend - in store for £49.99 but they priced matched it to Sports Direct who are selling it online for £30 - then they knocked the extra 10% off for price matching it so ended up getting it for £27 ... !
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
