you can get the ones that you use with a rock peg which would be best for rocky ground i have used normal ones in hard soil with no probs but i suppose it would be possible to break them at some point.

So what's the best way to pull them up then if they sit flush with the ground?

Nylon pegs won't last too long but original stainless or Delta rocks will. Expensive to start with but last a long time making them good value.

Thanks for all the feedback. I used my new deltas last weekend for the first time and oh yeh they are the dogs wotsits.....they are the future of tent pegidge...!!!!
