It seems to have its own Regulator Tube that screws on to the main unit to which you attach to the regulator. Depending on that fitting will depend if you can attach your own hose with regulator.
Might be best to check in a camping shop or even directly with Coleman.
We haven't got a Coleman unit yet,it's just there are some deals starting to appear in one of the shops by us(..I think they're making room the their Christmas stuff! )and as we've(okay..I've! ) been looking at getting a double burner of sorts,to replace our two "suitcase" stoves and the Coleman units seem a lot sturdier than the Campingaz/Hi Gear/Gelert stoves that they have there...
But I'd really want it to run off the bottles we already have in the MH...
I know what you mean, seems a waste when you have the bottles there.
We plumped for a Weber 120 Barbecue with an extra griddle tray because that takes both the small gas and the large, and then we got and one of the little single burner stoves with cannisters!
I have one of the Coleman stoves, which I believe takes the same cannister as the fold-n-go. It is a specific Coleman fitting, and the whole thing is punted as a 'don't use any other combination it is dangerous' kind of affair.
When I was digging around on here last year, somebody did post a link to a US website that sold converters to calor fittings. They weren't available at the time over here, although that might have changed.
Worth a look around on the search feature I'd say, because the post does exist, although I can't find it at the moment.
I was going to switch to a Coleman dual fuel stove next year as the cannisters are a ridiculous price. Re-finding that post has made me change my mind!
I think I'll get the refill adapter and keep a tank in the shed as I don't really have room at the moment to take a tank with me.
I've got 6 cannisters at home, so should be able to cover a nice long holiday with no worries.

Yep, that's what I'll be doing. Bottle in the shed and try to refill - even if you can only get a 40% - 50% actual volume refill, so what?. I must admit last trip out, which was a nice long 2 weeks, made me realise how many canisters get used up and therefore the cost.
It describes how to get a higher volume when refilling. The most basic tip seems to be to put the small cannister in the freezer before you do the refill. He goes on to talk about pulling out the pin, which sounds a bit full on to me, and he does indeed give a warning about doing it. Mind you he managed to get more gas in the cannister than it ships with originally!

I've often wondered what that pin thingy was. I assumed that it was where the cylinders are filled in the factory, but doh, they are safety release valves - I can now mention this to OH, as she worries about them getting too hot and exploding!.
Bit risky though opening it up as it looks very thin and could be damaged easily; either jamming it closed so you have no over-pressure safety device, or so that it does not seal and leaks.
i have converted our coleman stove to run off a normal gas bottel, its our first our first outin with it this week comeing!! and it didnt cost me a penny to do it,, very simple when you think about it!

im interested in knowing what you did, ive been thinking about hacksawing the pipe in half and jubalee clipping a hose to the end where the coleman fitting would have been then running it to a regulator then calor bottle, am i close? dont really wanna pay £30+ and wait for somthing from the states as im due to go away in a couple of weeks...
oh, and the reason you can buy them in the states and not here in the uk is that it doesnt fit with british saftey regulations, coleman have a ebay stockist, bssupplies, or somthing like that

That was what I was going to do, searched around internet for weeks with no joy on finding anyone doing it, so went and brought a sunncamp stove instead.
I did look at refilling small coleman propane bottles myself (found it on youtube) but still works out expensive as you have to buy the full bottles in the first place... hence why I went down a different route!
