OK probably a dumb question but dont want to blow the electric as soon as we get to the site.
We have a MOBICOOL cooler 12vDC/230V AC (220-240 Volts) exactly how many AMPS does this use - have tried to find out but its all a bit complicated for me I dont trust my answer!!

Don't know how many amps but we have a large coolbox to put in the awning, we run this as well as the fridge, fire, water heater etc never had any issues.
think it's volts x watts = amps or something like that

Watts divided by Volts = Amps.
My mini fridge (which is just an electric coolbox on it's side) is 40 watts. It says so on a label on the back. So, 40 watts divided by 230 volts = 0.17 amps...just a puddle in the ocean really.

Check on the bacl of the fridge and it should tell you how many watts it is.
Divide this number by 230 and it will give you the amps.
