I have measured my van for the awning and it is 850 should I add on or go as close as possible to this measurement or add on?

I was told to go as close to the actual measurement as you can - too small and it won't fit properly, too big at it will just sag.

There's a database of awning measurements on the Isabella website.  http://service.isabella.net:591/isabella/uk/ameasurement.  You just need your make and year.
