i am new to caravaning & am trying to buy a 2nd hand awning for our 490lux van,the hand book recomends an A MEASUREMENT of 916 cm.Could anyone tell me how much i could exceed on this if possible , i,e the dorema size for van is size 11 ,could i use a size 12? thanks Thorin.
I was advised to get an awning with a measurement as close to my "A" measurement as I could. Too small and it won't fit your van properly, too big and again it won't fit and will sag.
Based on what you have said, if you need a size 11 then that's the size you should get - size 12 will be too big.
Contact firm call limestore its on the net they do awnings we got a size 12 brand new what you pay for 2nd hand safer getting new one we got our for 420 compared to other sites who want 550-950 and its great.
