am looking for a new gas stove with grill they all seem to be in the £50.00 bracket the cheapest i have found is on amazon £35.00 for a campingaz one. I'm forever a bargain hunter so can anyone tell me where i can beat the price of £35.00 ??
We got lucky at the local car boot, and found a brand new in the box, still sealed CampinGaz Chef for £20, although we did buy the specific carry bag for from a camping shop for £10, the bag is real handy for keeping it all together, as Ang mentions, look at the price of Gas, CampingGaz Gas is expensive in comparison to BP or Calor, although you will have to change the regulator if not using CampinGaz Gas, as the CampinGaz Chef comes with a specific CampinGaz regulator, which is fine in France as BP and Calor are not available in France. hope that helps.
I had a camping gaz chef and only bought and used it last year, this year it in the bins at Hill Head while camping. I got a Gelert cooker and grill similar to the one Christine mentioned but at a place called "Mountain Warehouse" looks very similar to Millets!!
It was prices from £60 odd down to £34.99 and then they just so had a 20% off weekend so got it for £27.99.
I used to have a Tilley one just like it and I loved it - but I had an accident with Persil Power wash stuff and all the paint come off the case which is why I then bought the horrible camping Gaz one - never got on with it - it used to slide on the kitchen stand and the pans used to be very unstable and don't even try to do toast with the other 2 burners on as the grill goes out!!!
I did keep the bag thought off the camping gaz cooker for my nre one as it fits - The bag was the only good thing IMHO!!!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
