We just bought an Easy Camp double SIM but my wife thinks it's awful, nothing like what we expected. We thought it would be quite firm but it's anything but. I slept OK on it but she is still complaining of a sore back a couple of days later.
It's even more insulting because the bed we had in our camper van was just a bit of foam rubber, and it was superb.
Looks like we might have to get a couple of folding camp beds, but we'd rather have a double something-or-other...
Aerobed Active Double from Argos for £65. A bit pricey but so worth it. I've tried all sorts and recently bought a double self inflating mat but like your wife, I found it painful! The Aerobed has been the answer to my prayers

HOPE ITS HELPFUL.
Campbed with airbed on top, or two campbeds secured together with a double if you prefer. I've not been comfy in my own bed since I came home, I'm so missing my campbed!!

Our Coleman Comfort airbeds are great for comfort... just need a bit of extra air every couple of days (or daily in very hot weather) to keep them fairly firm.
I think Kampa did a double camp bed. Don't know if you can still get them...
I love our coleman comfort From amazon, we put a picnic rug underneath it then ontop of the bed a fleece blanket then a fitted sheet, then our double sleeping bed, so nice and sung!! I always keep another large blanket at the bottom of bed just incase i get a bit nippy during the night. Always have a great nights sleep, hope this helps you.
