Off to france for 2 weeks just replaced 6kg gas bottle, have bought a cadac carri chef delux and will use this most nights plus perhaps the hob and oven in the van will the 6kg bottle be enough gas. Any advice greatly appreciated.Cheers
we've just got a 7kg bottle with the intention of using it when we go to France next week for 18 nights, we'll be using it for our cadac and 2 burner hob, so hopefully it will last us, if not we've also got the cobb as a backup. First time we've gone with our own kit so can't really give you a definite answer however someone else on here should be able to

I found reference to the Carri Chef using up to 10.5oz/hour which is around 300g/hr so a 6kg bottle should last ( Carri Chef alone) for around 20 hours...
