Sorry for the daft question. We've just booked a hardstanding pitch for the Christmas period at the C&CC's Thetford Forest site and want to put our awning up (so we have somewhere to dry the dogs). We currently use metal screw in pegs that we put in using a cordless drill (which has hammer action for when things get a bit tough).
Will our current arrangement be suitable for a hardstanding pitch or will I need to get some rock pegs?
I find rock pegs and a small lump hammer better than the screw in ones. Our screw in ones are now kept just for 'emergencies'.
