Hi,
First post so sorry if this is a daft question, but whil'st taking apart the roof poles and also the leg poles to my Ohio xl the connecting inner wires came away from inside of the poles on at least 2 roof poles and 3 leg poles. I dont believe I exerted a lot of tension on these wires whil'st dismantiling the poles, is this a regular occurence with the wires? is there a way to fix/mend this.
Regards Andy

Hello and welcome to the forum.
I wouldn't worry. A couple have gone on mine but everything still works fine.

I wouldn't wprry either.
You can rethread the shock cord if you wan tto but it's not worth the fiddle imo.
We have some poles where the shock cords gone but I've just left them (like FS) and they still do the job perfectly well.------------- Keely :-))

The spring connectors are pretty rubbish, you can buy replacements but they'll only break again. If you're bothered about it the shock cord replacement idea works better but I think most of us don't worry about it as it makes no difference to the stability of the tent when pitched, you just have to remember which bits go where.------------- Kate
