as title, i am planning to get an awning for our montana 6. Think we would like a carpet in there too :). Anybody know if outwell make one OR which other carpet would be a good fit ?

No awning carpets for the monty and to be honest you dont need one i own both the porch and extensions and they are far easier to keep clean without a carpet just abrush across the bathtub groundsheet gets rid of all the grass etc then take off your shoes or whatever before going in the main tent

My own personal choice would be a piece of breathable groundsheet. If the ground is soft/muddy I would put down the bathtub g/s and the breathable on top to give a nice cushion underfoot.

I agree with you wanting a carpet for the awning on your Monty 6.. Myself and the OH both said we want something that is warm under foot on a night. The awning is great but we are also looking for something on top of the bathtub. I 'll watch this thread for any suggestions
Hi, I've just come back from a month in a Montana 6 with the front awning. We had pretty rough weather for the whole month and I was glad I didn't have a carpet in the awning as it got pretty dirty which easily cleaned off the groundsheet. We did however plan to buy a picnic blanket just to go under our 4 seat table for a bit of comfort but I wouldn't have got one for the whole thing because of the mess. btw you wont regret it, I love the awning and its not obvious but the whole front can roll up to make it open if required (we did this to pack the car)

better off with something that can get dirty and wet as it's the entrance - awning carpet or similar works well
mines just plastic matting (it would fit to the doorway in a monty, my awnings on the bear lake so it has a flat front and a large floor area to cover)
Hi all and thanks for all the replys . some good valid points in there about the wet weather etc.
After seeing the pics above and listening to the points made I am going to have a look at a breathable groundsheet / awning carpet I think. Found a good selection of these on www.breathablegroundsheet.co.uk. Anybody know of any from anywhere else ?
