It tells you on the Aldi website, if you click on the picture of the oven - it's 900-1300 watts. 5A is for up to 1200W, so may not be suitable, but why only 5A??
Its the way the caravan has been wired. Each socket is connected to an individual 5A fuse, so regardless of where we hook up we are still limited to what we can plug in.
Given the price though I might just buy one anyway and wait until we can get the caravan re-wired.

I doubt very much that the wiring is only 5A - can't you just put a slightly larger fuse in one circuit? I suspect that they are only 5A in case you use lots of sockets together.

The wiring is fine, its the fuse that is the problem. Don't fancy playing too much as its an older style fuseboard (with rewireable fuses) and we hope to get it re-wired shortly.
I got mine for £13 from argos, brill can cook anything and heat things up as well as toast etc etc. Mine is only small but I am a lone camper, if I was cooking for more i would definately get a bigger one.does get hot on outside but instructions do warn you of this.
