Can you repair a flocked airbed , on the top flocked side there are a couple of pin holes on the pocket seams . Can it be repaired with the patches supplied or will it not stick to the flocked side ?? any tips please as its only been used twice and cost £60 !!

Try seam sealer........I have no idea if it will work but it's probably worth a shot.

If the patches are the same material as airbed, patch flock side downward, but yes just stick patch on carefully follwing contours.

Hello ICAV.
           If you recently purchased the airbed, and have the receipt, you can return it for replacement or refund.

Perhaps this this not the case, therefore you may need to utilise Cyanoacrylate Adhesive.

I have not had success with leakage in my flocked side using patches.

I was tempted to use the adhesive gel, used in bicycle inner tubes to seal punctures, called Sludge. But this is an extreme way to deal with airbed leakage. (possibly a useful way)

I had a puncture in my inner tube today, but I replaced the inner tube.

Not sure how you'll sort this I'm afraid.

I replaced our double airbed with two singles, due to leakage. Grrr.

Keep the cats away from the airbeds! Thats our rule. lol.

We swapped our double for 2 singles too James, so much better for lots of reasons.

i don't see why the patch wouldn't work as long as you used plenty of glue on it. What you got to lose?

Ive found a flocked airbed repair patch kit on ebay for £1.99 will try it and see .
