So when I saw the bargain price I bought 4 for my Bluet burner.
The Butane/Propane combination will enable colder weather use.
Before I use them, I warm them with my body heat and agitate them.
In sub-zero temperatures, the popular thought is, the Propane will burn off, leaving the Butane remaining. In warmer weather the Butane will then burn off.
Below Zero Degrees C, Butane remains in liquid form.
Propane remains in a gaseous state down to about Minus 40 Degrees C.
Whilst in the canister, the gases are in liquid form due to the higher pressure.
I missed an opportunity to get some Butane/Propane mix canisters for my Camping-Gaz Bistro. The ones I have are Butane.
