So did I, those little table top fridges (with ice box) are brilliant for camping, to give you an idea, on a standard (16 amp) hook up we were running, lights, halogen oven, TV, satellite system, phone cargers, fridge and PS2! Obviously not all at the same time, but we never had a problem with it!
------------- Just remember, if it is older than yours, smaller than yours but next to yours, there is probably no credit owing on it...
We used to use a plug in cool box for our tent and always found it was fine. It is one that can run off 12v or mains so we would plug in at home before we set off to cool down, put food in and then plug into the car for the journey. Finally plugging in on site it was fine for all cool foods though of course it does not freeze.
Now we have a FC with built in caravan type fridge we still use the cool box to transport the food down, keep food cool while the FC fridge cools down and then it makes a great beer/drinks fridge to give us extra room.
It was pretty cheap and there are some bargains around at the moment in supermarkets and Halfords with it being winter.
It is also a lot lighter and easier to transport to and from the campsite too.
To rapidly cool a fridge or an icebox here is a super tip, simply get a 2 litre empty pop or water bottle, fill to about 3 inches from the top, screw up and place in freezer at least 24 hours before you leave. On day of departure simply put in the fridge, cool box etc, we used these when we first went camping instead of ice packs, it works a lot better!

Carlsberg mini fridges are listed at 75 w so you are pulling about 0.3amps off a standard hook up. On the green side of things they work so much more efficiently if kept full of ale - so do your bit for the environment

No, if you check the profile now got an Elddis rather than an Aztec, the wife and my mother both have back injuries (my wife broke her neck when she was 11 and my mother has disintergrating disks due to many years of nursing when there were not machines to help move people) so the Aztec had to go (sob, boo hoo, sniff, wail), mind you the Elddis is easier to set up, a lot easier to set up...
