Hello my name is keith and im new to the forum and caravning for that matter. Having recentley installed a water tank into my van using the origonal truma crystal 2 pump i noticed it was leaking so ive purchased a pistol type and the housing. My question is the new housing hasn,t got the non-return valve like the crystal 2 so can these be bought seperatley or is there no need regards keith.
ok, i thought so, thanks for the reply, i will take the housing to the dealer and ask for a valve for it, thanks again. Just a thought how you finding the new fitting does it leak or was my old one just worn out.
Used it all this year no leaks at all, the old Carver filter housing was prone to cracking caused by over tightening (previous owner) of the filter cartridge. Just make sure the new hosing is well sealed on fitting, I bought my non return valve off ebay but I know Gary at Arc Systems has them for sale, give him a shout or do a search on here for him
