Hi,
Needing some help caravan in storage at the moment and looking at buying a 390 porch can anyone tell us if we put the porch tight to the back of the van will it cover front side window?
or if we put it tight to front will it cover back window?

You really need to measure your van.............. we bought one on speck last year and it was absolutely useless! worthwhile checking.............

we have a 550 and our 390 awning is perfect from the very back of van to about 5cm before the front window.
your 540 being 10cm shorter means it will only cover the front window by about 5cm if the windows are in the same place and size.
i wouldnt worry if it covers the front window a little as there are plenty of other windows to open.

also, you can get a 325 instead of 390 here

If it were me, I'd measure to check clearance as I'd much prefer any awning to clear the windows.
Although there are many who don't mind the windows being covered, the lightweight awnings will move about in a breeze and over a time you can experience a scuffing to the outer surface of the window.
As above has mentioned, there is a slightly smaller option and knowing the model they've posted the link too, I can highly recommend Compactalite 325.------------- Paul
