I'm clearly in the minority here , but I'm not really a fan of camping furniture that needs transporting, erecting and packing away again. And paying for in the first place of course. Trailers are a no-go due to my towing allergy.
Saying all that, we of course take comfy chairs, and a table . For kitchen stuff we have the Campingaz cooker with the little fold-out legs, and a picnic backpack for plates, cutlery and coolbag, and several stackable, robust, big, plastic air-tight boxes and a washing up bowl, which we pack with soft stuff or dry foods for transit. Add in the coolbox and we're good to go for pretty much perpetual camping .
Clothes-wise, we use lots of small bags for different bits and bobs, one for tops, one for underwear, etc.. The strong, reusable supermarket bags are just the job. This makes it really easy to find what you're looking for first thing in the morning, and for some excellent stuffing potential in the boot of the car. Not very glamorous but it works well for us.
