Hi,

I have just bought a Coleman Mackenzie X8 tent and my other half wants to carpet the living area of the tent.

Approximate dimensions that we are looking at are 290cm x 380cm or with the 2 end bedrooms removed 500cm x 380cm.

Any recommendations on what carpets may fit would be welcome, i have been searching for hours without much luck so far....

Cheers

Hi compare it the khyam ontario

the khyam is a bit narrower but you'd get away with that as you will have stuff like storage boxes or furniture along the sides of the tent anyway probably.

carpet is £42.99 here

Or theres a vango carpet measusuring 390 x 455 for £49.99 here

A cheaper option is to buy an awning breathable groundsheet to use as a tent carpet .

You can see them in caravan/camping shops, sold on the roll.they are soft warm rubbery type material with small holes in . very soft and warm underfoot .cuts to size with no fraying.
this company has a bargain section selling offcuts and slight seconds hence the very low prices.

They have 3m x 4m size in blue for £22 . I can recommend this company for excellent service and the lowest prices. I bought my awning groundsheet here last summer.I bought the seconds grade and it was just fine, couldn't notice any faults in mine .

Thats what I thought too, before mine arrived. But surprisingly its not that bulky . Its only about the same thickness as a picnic rug or tent carpet.
