Does anyone know of a source for a 23mm socket steady winder extension? All the ones I have found so far on the internet are either 19mm or 17 mm.

Constructed one myself in the end. 450mm electric drill screwdriver extension, 1/2 socket drive adapter, and 23 mm socket.

Yeah,I had the same problem not so long back..everywhere I tried looked at me as if I was daft(..No comment!)..

At one stage I thought I must've had a pair of oddball steadies...

 ".. Oh no mate!..it'll be 17 or 19mm,they don't do 'em 23mm.."

Like you,I gave up and made my own.

This is still relevant. We have a caravan with 23mm nuts on the corner jacks. Still can’t find a long drill driver for it!

Is there any engineering type works near to you, I made my extension and welded it to a socket while I was working, its not a hard job if you have the welding tackle and preferably also a lathe

Easy job of you have a welder and competent to use it. If not pop to a local welding company only a 5 minute job for a welder if they charge you more than £10 tell them to jog on down the road!!

The adapter as above with a suitable sized socket is the answer if you don't have a welder.
Leave the extension in your drill and change the socket to a 19mm to save bending when screwing awning pegs in.
