Hi just bought a Sunncamp trailer tent a cabanon fridge box i own a estate and have a 3 bike rear mount rack Not put the box on yet but just had a thought with the bikes on the rack will there be enough room between the box and bikes to attach the trailer ? what do you think I cant try it til the w/end and its bugging me
My Cabanon trailer tent with 2 bike towbar mounted MaxxRaxx - absolutely no chance of clearance with the large Cabanon front box. The small box would probably be OK. The issue is cornering.

Our Cabanon Atlantis DL had the large box and absolutely no chance of even a single bike on the back of the car. Had a chance to try with the smaller box and that gave restrictions too and would allow only one bike again, anymore and the cornering issue returned.
With my MaxxRaxx and an Erde 193, I can only fit two small bikes on the car and still turn full circle. Even the height extension won't help. The other two bikes have to go on the trailer.

Also always worth remembering with towbar mounted bike racks that you need to add the actual noseweight of the trailer to the weight of the rack and bikes and make sure this doesn't exceed the towbar noseweight limit.
To my mind that usually means a maximum of 2 bikes, assuming it's a smallish trailer! With a larger trailer (such as my Pathfinder) the ideal noseweight (7% of the laden weight) will be about on the limit for most towbars. I suspect the fridge box makes the noseweight quite high anyway.
